This 5 ingredient pork chop recipe has a delicious dijon sauce that turns it from a regular weeknight dinner to one special enough for guests or holidays.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless pork loin chops (6 oz each)
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tsp canola oil
  • 1/3 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tbs dijon mustard
  • 1/3 cup half-and-half cream

Instructions

1. Sprinkle pork chops with salt and pepper. Drizzle oil into large skillet, and brown pork chops for 4-5 minutes per side, flipping once, until internal temperature reaches 145 degrees F. Remove and keep warm on plate covered with foil.

2. Add broth to warm skillet, scraping up any browned bits. Stir in mustard and half-and-half, and bring to a boil.

3. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered, until sauce thickens, about 5-6 minutes, stirring occassionally.

4. Serve dijon sauce over pork chops, alongside potatoes, rice, or a salad.
