Ingredients
- 1 (8 oz) can refrigerated crescent roll dough (such as Pillsbury crescent roll sheet)
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 3/4 cup salsa
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Optional toppings: extra salsa, pico de gallo, diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, sliced black olives, sour cream, or guacamole
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
- In a 9x13 baking dish, lightly sprayed with nonstick spray, gently press crescent roll dough to make a bottom crust
- Brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat until no pink remains. Drain and return to skillet. Stir in taco seasoning and 2/3 cup water. Bring to a simmer for 3-4 minutes, until thickened. Add salsa.
- Spoon beef mixtire over crescent roll dough. Sprinkle with shredded cheese
- Bake for 20 minutes, until crust is golden brown. Cut into squares, and serve with your favorite toppings.
