This dump and bake meatball casserole makes a delicious weeknight dinner that the whole family will love. Best of all, you don't even have to boil the noodles first!
Ingredients
- 1 (16 oz) box rotini pasta, uncooked
- 1 (24 oz) jar marinara sauce
- 3 cups water
- 1 (14 oz) package fully-cooked mini cocktail-size meatballs - completely thawed
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella
- Optional: Parmesan cheese and fresh chopped herbs
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees F
- In a 9x13 baking dish, stir together uncooked rotini, marinara sauce, water, and meatballs
- Cover with foil and bake for 35 minutes
- Uncover and stir, then sprinkle mozzarella over top
- Bake uncovered for 10 more minutes, until cheese is melted
- Let sit for at least 5 minutes before serving
