This dump and bake meatball casserole makes a delicious weeknight dinner that the whole family will love. Best of all, you don't even have to boil the noodles first!

Ingredients

  • 1 (16 oz) box rotini pasta, uncooked
  • 1 (24 oz) jar marinara sauce
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 (14 oz) package fully-cooked mini cocktail-size meatballs - completely thawed
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella
  • Optional: Parmesan cheese and fresh chopped herbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F
  2. In a 9x13 baking dish, stir together uncooked rotini, marinara sauce, water, and meatballs
  3. Cover with foil and bake for 35 minutes
  4. Uncover and stir, then sprinkle mozzarella over top
  5. Bake uncovered for 10 more minutes, until cheese is melted
  6. Let sit for at least 5 minutes before serving
