How HP Instant Ink Works

Hp Instant Ink is basically an ink subscription service.

You can choose from a few different plans, depending on how many pages per month you’d like to print.

It’s SUPER affordable, and they even have a free plan if you print 15 pages or less.

You can also roll pages over to the next month if you don’t use them, and change or cancel your plan at any time.

And the best part? HP will send you ink refills when you start to run low, so you never have to worry about running out of ink again!

The plan is based on the number of pages you print, so you don’t have to worry about printing in full color anymore either.

Bonus tip: They also have a refer-a-friend program, where you and a friend can each get free ink when they sign up through your link.

How to Print Cheaply at Home with HP Instant Ink

1. Purchase an HP Printer

To utilize the Instant Ink program, you do need to have an HP printer that can connect to the internet.

You could order one online from the comfort of your home, or find a good sale at Target, Office Depot, or Staples.

Even though there’s some up front investment to purchase the printer, the Instant Ink program will have it paying for itself in no time.

2. Choose your Instant Ink Plan

Go online to the HP Instant Ink website, and choose which plan you want to start with, depending on how many pages you think you’ll print each month.

Remember that you can adjust your plan up or down at any time, so don’t fret about which plan to choose.

The pages will roll over to the next month if you don’t use them all.

3. Look for your new ink to arrive

Once your ink arrives from HP, install it into your printer, and wa-la, your plan has begun!

When HP sees that your cartridge is getting low, they’ll automatically send you a new one.

(Don’t worry, it should arrive in plenty of time so your cartridge never runs empty.)

How effortless is that?!

Now you can print to your heart’s content, without worrying about running out of ink, or blowing your budget buying new cartridges.

Don’t forget the paper

In addition to high-quality ink, your print quality has a lot to do with what paper you use.

Try using some premium paper, and you’ll really notice and love the difference!

You can even set paper delivery up on Subscribe & Save through Amazon, so it gets shipped to you at whatever regularity you choose.
