Chocolate fountain recipe
What type of chocolate you serve is completely your preference.
You can serve dark chocolate, milk chocolate, or white chocolate in your fountain.
(A combination of semi-sweet and milk chocolate chips is delicious!)
For best results, oil will need to be added to ensure a smooth, even flow of liquid, dripping chocolate.
Estimate ½ cup of vegetable oil for every 5 lbs of chocolate.
Combine the oil and chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl, and microwave for 3 minutes.
Halfway through, stir the mixture.
After 3 minutes, stir again. If not fully melted, heat in 20 second increments until chunks are smoothed.
Note: You can also melt the chocolate in a double boiler on the stovetop.
