Best Time Saving Kitchen Gadgets
Vegetable chopper
I absolutely love using a vegetable chopper! You can chop half an onion with one press, and without tears!
It also chops all sorts of vegetables, fruits, cheese, cooked meat, and more.
You can even choose from different dice sizes. And this vegetable chopper also comes with a spiralizer, mandoline, and two graters for shredding cheese or veggies.

Egg cooker
Boiling eggs can be SUCH a pain when you want to make hard-boiled eggs. Waiting for the water to boil takes patience…
…and knowing exactly how long to boil them can take some mind-reading abilities.
Having an egg cooker has been such a game changer!
No more boiling water and guessing. It lets you make soft, medium, and hard-boiled eggs, plus omelettes and scrambled or poached eggs.
Check out how awesome this egg cooker is!
Foodsaver
The Foodsaver vacuum sealer offers the benefit of saving both time and money. You can stock up on meat and produce when they’re on sale, and preserve them with your Foodsaver. They will stay fresh in your freezer for a couple years, without any freezer burn!
By having meat ready to go in your freezer, you won’t have to run out to the store every time you want to cook dinner. And you’ll save money by buying your food at the lowest price, and not waste food because it got freezer burned.
Here are all the ways I use a Foodsaver to save time and money.

Salad spinner
Salad spinners make it so quick and easy to wash and dry lettuce, kale, herbs, and other leafy greens.
You can rinse your produce in the basket portion and then swiftly remove all the water by spinning it.
You will eat healthier when your salad ingredients are washed and ready to go.
And even if you buy ‘pre-washed’ lettuce, it’s best to run it through the salad spinner to remove any remaining dirt and grime.
You’d be surprised how icky the water looks after washing that ‘pre-washed’ lettuce!

Best time saving kitchen appliances
Instant Pot
The name ‘Instant Pot’ says it all. Essentially a pressure cooker, it cooks your food up to 6 times faster!
It also replaces 7 common kitchen appliances in one unit, which saves space in your valuable kitchen real estate.
The Instant Pot is truly one of those set-it-and-forget-it conveniences that cooks your food while you do other things.
Simply put your ingredients in, press one of the pre-set options, and walk away.
Find out why it’s so darn popular here!
Crock Pot
Another wonderful option to save you from slaving over the kitchen stove is the slow cooker.
It doesn’t cook your food quickly, but rather takes over the ENTIRE cooking process for you.
Toss the ingredients in, turn it on, and arrive at dinner time with your meal already prepared.
A programmable slow cooker is a particularly great time saver, because it’ll stop cooking at a time you designate, and just keep your food warm.
Slow cooker liners will even help you save time with cleanup!
I love this programmable slow cooker!
Bread machine
To continue the theme of hands-off cooking, it doesn’t get much better than a bread machine.
You can make everything from pizza dough to sweet bread, and everything in between.
This bread machine also has a delayed start timer, so you could wake up or come home to warm, homemade bread. It even makes jam and yogurt!
With 12 different programs, 2 different loaf size and crust colors, the possibilities are endless.
Homemade bread is far fresher and tastes much better than anything you can buy at the store.
Plus you’ll know exactly what’s in it, without the addition of mysterious preservatives and chemicals.
Check out how the bread machine works here.
Toaster Oven
Save time waiting for your big oven to preheat by using a toaster oven. It’s not just for toast!
You can essentially bake anything you make in the regular oven in the toaster oven.
Choose the temperature and function (ie. bake, broil, or toast), and put your food right in, with no need to preheat.
You won’t heat up your entire kitchen when you use a toaster oven, and it uses a lot less energy. You might even find yourself using the toaster oven more often that your regular oven, like I have.
If you’re preparing a big meal, you can make a side dish in your toaster oven while your main dish cooks in the big oven.
Everything can be finished at the same time instead of waiting around!

Immersion Blender
Whenever you can take the tool right to the food, instead of having to transfer it, you will save time.
If you need to blend or mash something, just stick your immersion blender right into your cooking vessel, and viola!
If you’re making soup, and need to blend some of the ingredients to thicken it, an immersion blender works fabulously.
You can also use to mash potatoes or beans, or make homemade tomato sauce.
I also use mine when I’m making black bean burgers to mash the black beans and blend the ingredients.
This immersion blender even comes with a whisk attachment to make smoothies!

Air Fryer
Air fryers are absolutely amazing. Somehow they make food taste fried, without the deep fry calories.
They use hot air in combination with high-speed circulation to cook food faster, without extra fats or oils.
You get that ‘fried’ crunch and texture without having to actually fry your food in oil. The benefits don’t stop there though!
Besides the obvious treats like french fries and chicken wings, you can make an actual dinner in the air fryer.
Proteins like chicken breasts, steaks, and even burgers and meatloaf come on perfectly. Potatoes and vegetables are also ideal.
You can use the air fryer to transform leftovers back to their original form. In addition to saving time and calories, it is easy to use and doesn’t take up much space.
I got one earlier this year, and use it almost daily.
Save time and calories with this air fryer!
